I am a Midwest native with a passion for capturing life’s meaningful moments. My love for photography started with my parents’ cameras, wandering the countryside to snap sunsets, fields, and all the beauty of God’s creation. Those early adventures planted a seed that’s grown into something I truly cherish today.

I’ve developed a style that’s true to color and earthy yet softer and more natural. My goal is to create a gallery that feels like you—authentic, warm, and full of life. I focus less on perfect posing and more on capturing the genuine moments and little details that make your story unique. Whether it’s the way your child’s hand fits in yours, a shared laugh, or the quiet beauty of a sunset, I love highlighting these fleeting memories.

My faith is a cornerstone of my work. I love Jesus and am grateful for the creative freedom to capture clients in this beautiful world He’s made for us. Photography is my way of preserving not just images but emotions, connections, and the undeniable beauty of God’s handiwork.

Fun Facts About Your Photographer!

1. I am a self-taught photographer which means it is rare for me to say no to trying new things!

2. I love animals! I have two chocolate labs (Miley & Kota) and a cat (Kitty) & sometimes I volunteer at the local animal shelter.

3. I don’t love cookies, cake, or cupcakes, but that is because my true love for sweet treats is held by ice cream!

4. One of my favorite comfort shows is Friends! I think I may have watched the show no less than twelve times?!

The start of another sweet family 🩵🫧🫐 I have gotten to know Emma and Dagen throughout the past couple of years and there is no doubt in my mind they will be amazing parents! Praying that Gods hand is in their next chapter of life guiding them ✨

Just when you thought the grad pictures were done… yesterday I had a sweet family session with the Jenkins and then we moved over to Anderson for some cap & gown pictures ! It was a fun evening <3

One thing about my mom: if I need a picture, she will take it for me. Are they always in focus? No. Is she adjusting any camera settings? Absolutely not. But gosh dang it we got the pictures. Backstory: Every time I’m home from MHK, I drive past this spot and watch it transform from dry, yellow grass to a patch of green, beautiful, dreamy goodness. Today, I finally had enough of wondering what it would look like in photos. So I picked an outfit, did my hair and makeup, and called up my mom. I’m excited to bring future sessions here—with me behind the camera this time.

Lately, during all the cap & gown sessions I’ve had, I keep hearing the same thing: “Thank you for making me feel comfortable and helping me have fun during our session. It was a great experience.” Or even— “I don’t take pictures very often and usually dread them, but today was so fun!” Every time my clients say something along those lines, my heart flutters. And today, I want to share the reason why my clients leave a session feeling that way. The secret? I talk. That’s it! I keep the conversation flowing, take the pressure off, and help them forget they’re even in front of a camera. They’re not overthinking how to pose or worrying about doing something “wrong.” They’re just being themselves. Maybe they laugh at something I say, and just like that—we’ve captured a candid moment that that turns out to be a favorite. The biggest shift happened when I stopped chasing the “perfect photo” and started prioritizing my clients experience. That’s when the images started telling a story and my clients left feeling truly seen and valued. Whether we spend 15 minutes or 2 hours together, my goal is always the same: I want every client to feel like they could pass me on the street and say hi—because in that short time, we connected.

Through the time I had booking cap & gowns at K-State I met so many amazing and kind people. I know God will take each and every one of them far in life and I was blessed to be able to connect with all of them! EMAW!!!

My commitment doesn’t end when our time together does—it carries into the late nights I spend editing, ensuring you receive same-day sneak peeks and your full gallery within 1-3 days (even though my website states a 1-2 week turnaround time). Beyond the session, I genuinely enjoy staying connected and following my clients’ stories on social media. It’s so special to witness how your lives continue to unfold and to celebrate your milestones along the way.
